Vitax has invested in new machinery and racking space to increase productivity and improve capacity to meet customer demand.

A new one-litre production facility, which will significantly increase its commercial manufacturing process and productivity eightfold.

“Over the past few years Vitax has significantly grown its customer-base, both in the UK and overseas, to levels where investment was needed to ensure we continue to meet the demand of both existing and new customers,” says Anja Gooding, chair at Vitax.

“The new machinery will not only enable the team to reduce lead times on orders, but it also provides the flexibility to accommodate special requests from customers, such as bespoke coding on inner and outer packaging and labelling.”

To accommodate the new levels of raw materials and finished product associated with the additional production, Vitax has also increased its storage capabilities through further investment in heavier duty racking and a bespoke drive in racking system, increasing warehouse capacity by over 20 per cent.
